Using a load-cell pressure can be applied by using weights or in this case a winch (out of picture
to the left) and subsequently recorded. In this photo pressure is being gradually applied to initially test
the safe working load capability of the locally constructed derrick pole. Video and stills were taken by us
and the St. Vincent rigging crew at all stages up to and including the point of proof load.
